UPHOLSTERY & CUSHIONS.

Our fabrics offer the perfect mix of quality and style, featuring house favourites such as cotton, sumptuous soft velvet, hemp-like fabric and remarkably luxurious performance textiles.

PERFORMANCE FABRICS

Our performance fabrics are designed to endure homes with pets, kids, and everyday life – without sacrificing a stitch of style.

Care:

  • Our Quikleen® Performance Fabrics are designed to repel water, as well as resist mold, mildew,
fading, and staining. It is guaranteed to resist fading for up to 3 years

Cleaning:

  • Vacuum regularly on a low setting without the rotating beater brush. The bristled brush digs into the
fibers and may damage your upholstery.
  • Wipe spills immediately. Clean with natural soap and lukewarm water. Sponge briskly and rinse
thoroughly to remove dirt. Then air dry.
  •  Chlorine bleach will not affect the coloration of the dyed acrylic or polyester fiber – use it for stubborn stains, but try a solution of one part bleach, two parts water. (Chlorine bleach, strong chemicals or harsh detergents will eventually affect the strength of any fiber or cloth.)
  • Professional cleaning is recommended for hard-to-remove stains.
COTTON

Casual, family-friendly, and perfect for high-traffic areas, cotton is always a good bet.

Care:

  • To preserve its beauty, keep your furniture indoors and avoid exposure to the sun.
  • Do not place sharp objects on or near the cotton, as this could damage the natural material.
  •  Excessive rubbing or bumping may cause the cotton to fray.

Cleaning:

  • Vacuum regularly on a low setting without the rotating beater brush. The bristled brush digs into the fibers and may damage your upholstery.
  •  Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth. Then spot clean as needed using a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh cleaning products as these could fade or damage your upholstery.
  • For hard-to-remove spills, professional cleaning is recommended.
LEATHER

Leather and cowhide bring a natural elegance to the room. With a wide range of colors and textures, it has inherent variations in tone that make it truly one-of-a-kind. And like other naturals, it relaxes over time for that well-worn look we love.

Care:

  • To preserve its beauty, keep your furniture indoors and avoid exposure to the sun.
  • Leather’s hue may fade over time and show some wear and tear. This natural process gives it that nice lived-in look.

Cleaning:

  • For leather, vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment. Avoid polishes and remove stains by dabbing with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. To eliminate scratches, try a dry cloth or rubbing the leather gently with your finger.
  • For hide-on-hide, vacuum gently in the direction of the hair, using a hose and soft brush attachment. Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth. Then spot clean as needed using a warm, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh cleaning products as these could fade or damage the cowhide.
  • For hard-to-remove spills, professional cleaning is recommended for both leather and hide-on-hide.
VELVET

Truly elegant, our velvet adds a luxe touch wherever it goes. It’s also durable and a breeze to keep clean, retaining its beautiful lustre for years to come.

Care:

  • To preserve its beauty, keep your furniture indoors and avoid exposure to the sun.
  • Do not place sharp objects on or near the velvet mohair, as this could damage the material.
  • Excessive rubbing may damage its surface structure.

Cleaning:

  •  Vacuum regularly on a low setting without the rotating beater brush. The bristled brush may damage the fibers of your upholstery.
  • Spills should be treated as soon as they occur. Use an absorbent white cloth or tissue, slightly moistened with lukewarm water. Do not use colored cloths as the dye may transfer.
  • If water alone does not remove the stain, a diluted carpet upholstery shampoo can be used – just be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Always apply the cleaning solution to the dampened white cloth, never directly onto the upholstery. Gently blot or rub the stain, working from the edge to the middle. Remove any residual shampoo with a damp cloth.
  • Finish cleaning in the direction of the nap. Dry immediately before using again; a hair dryer on a low temperature can be used.
  • For hard-to-remove spills, professional cleaning is recommended.
RUGS

We love the casual look and interesting texture of mixed materials. Designed for extra softness and dependability, our mixed material rugs feature unique combos like suede, wool or hemp.

Care:

  • Rotate your rug every 3-6 months to prevent excessive wear and sun exposure in one area.
  • Do not pull on loose ends. Either tuck back or snip with scissors and knot ends.
  • We recommend using a rug pad to prolong the life of your rug.

Cleaning:

  •  For best results, vacuum regularly on a low setting without the rotating beater brush. The bristled brush digs into the fibers and may damage your rug.
  • Spot clean as needed using a soft, damp cloth. Avoid soap and cleaning products as these could fade or damage the rug.
  • For hard-to-remove spills, professional cleaning is recommended.
